RiVAL - Research in Vision and Language Group

The Research in Vision and Language group is a multi-disciplinary team of scientists at the University of Malta working on the interface between Computer Vision and Computational Linguistics.

Our interests

We are interested in a broad variety of problems at the Vision-Language interface. In particular, we are actively engaged in work on the following:

• Automatic generation of text from visual input, including face descriptions and scene descriptions;
• Leveraging visual informaton to support automatic inference from natural language, including grounded textual entailment.
